Forum of creative industries will be held in Dnipro-city on 21-22 February 2017 within the framework of the project ‘Bridges of Public Activity’ funded by the EU.
The forum will involve 200 creative entrepreneurs, developers, culture managers and representatives of relevant organizations from different regions of Ukraine, as well as representatives of government and local authorities, community leaders, territory development experts, and investors.
The theme of the forum is “Creative Industries for Territory Development”. The program of the event includes: speeches, presentations, projects and discussions focused on the potential of creative and cultural industries for socio-economic development, and, of course, networking and communication to establish new partnerships.
The forum will present successful practices of cultural and creative industries from different regions of Ukraine, as well as new projects looking for funding and partners. Participants will have a chance to listen to inspirational presentations from practitioners of cultural and creative industries, who will share their experience; reports of creative economy researchers; and advice concerning fundraising from grant making organizations and representatives of investors.
The forum is held with the support of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration.

Authors of projects seeking for funding or partners will have a chance to present their ideas in the investment fair format. To present their project at the Forum, project authors have to complete a registration form at https://goo.gl/forms/ii36vQ4vGvu5GcDk1 and submit their presentation with a brief project description, budget, marketing strategy or plan of the project development. The Forum invites projects in the area of cultural and creative industries in the following categories: business projects, social entrepreneurship, and nonprofit projects that have not yet been implemented or are looking for opportunities of development or growth.
This is the first event of its kind in the Dnipropetrovsk region and the first Forum of Cultural and Creative Industries within the framework of the ‘Bridges of Public Activity’. All in all, four such forums on cultural and creative industries are scheduled for 2017–2018, all of them will take place in Dnipro-city.

The project “Bridges of public activity” is financed by the European Union and is implemented in 2016–2018 via partner organizations: Center for Cultural Management (Lviv) Ukrainian Library Association (Kyiv), Information Society Development Foundation (Warsaw), Charity Foundation ‘Pomogaem’ (Dnipro).
The project “Bridges of public activity” involves trainings and workshops on creative industries, operates National Exchange Program for Civil Society Activists, Journalists and Cultural Figures. Besides, the project is conducting mapping of the communities of 12 towns of Ukraine and the results will be presented in autumn 2017.
